My journey in medicine started in the US Army in the run-up to Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003. I was selected to carry the Combat Life-Saver bag for the Armor Company I was assigned to out of Friedberg, Germany. Later, my Career Counselor suggested me to attend the US Military’s Physician Assistant Program at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio in 2007. I immediately fell in love with Texas!
Upon Graduating, I spent four good years as a Physician Assistant with the Army in Ft. Polk, Louisiana. While there, I applied to medical school and was accepted to Texas A&M University College of Medicine 2014. I then went on to do my Residency in Internal Medicine co-located in Tyler and Longview. After graduating in 2018, I then worked three years for Baylor, Scott and White in Georgetown – Sun City clinic, a clinic known for its medically complex geriatric population.
Seeking a better education for our four young children, the Jones family has moved to the Eanes School District and is opening a new clinic in the community: Optimum Wellbeing! My wife and partner, Dr. Kristina Jones and I are honored to have the opportunity to serve you!
